Two thieves target the mansion of a mysterious widow and as Sully becomes entranced by her beauty, their heist becomes entangled with the deadly pursuits of a serial killer. Having worked with him before, director Dinitha Vithanage hired me to create a series of posters for his first feature film, "Midnight Boulevard." Being a crime story, a level of intensity and mystery was needed. A black and white color scheme, high contrast, a heavy film grain, and lingering intrigue accomplished this.
Vithanage also created a five track EP sequel that tells the story of two detectives going after the mystery of the ending of the film. The cover design needed to be different enough from the film posters, but share enough similarities to show that the two are connected.
